Your scaffolds provide support for workers to get to a higher level physically, a teacher's metaphorical scaffold provides support for a child to get to the next level in their learning journey! We see what the child knows and what they would want to accomplish next, and provide activities or an environment that helps them develop the skills they need in between the two.
