🇯🇵Tokyo, Japan I kept thinking to myself that this place better be good because I was drenched in sweat under the sun for two hours. I could’ve just left, but after an hour I was like… alright I’m gonna wait lol Was this worth the wait? Definitely not two hours in my humble opinion. Maybe like 30 minutes but not hours. And it’s cash only. I found out late that it was cash only so after I sat down I had to run to a nearby convenient store to get money. After you order your tonkatsu, it takes about 20 minutes for them to cook. I’ve noticed that this place was SPOTLESS. This is a heavy oil cooking restaurant and there was no dirtu002Foil, like on the ceiling, the wall, floor, etc. It was one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve been to. They probably spend more time cleaning the store than they prep all the meat. The tonkatsu itself was very good. Perfectly cooked meat where it’s both juicy and tender. Breading wasn’t too heavy, it was light and almost airy but so crunchy. Salad was also fresh and good. Overall, very good restaurant and I can see why people ‘open run’ to this restaurant. But if it’s too hot outside and unbearable, do not wait and go somewhere else.
